Constellation lures ComEd customers with 15% discount

Illinois residents are frustrated with their current energy provider, ComEd. A Kelton Research survey of more than 500 Illinois residents reveals that 73 percent would likely switch electricity providers to save money.

These results directly mirror the results of a national Accenture Research study that showed 73 percent of customers would consider buying electricity and energy-efficiency solutions from companies other than their traditional energy provider.

Wasting no time, Constellation is offering Illinois' ComEd customers the opportunity to save up to 15 percent on their current ComEd rate and can lock in this rate for up to 24 months. According to Illinois law, ComEd must continue to bill the account, deliver the electricity and handle service inquiries to customers in their territory choosing Constellation or other suppliers.
