Verisae intelligent analytics could cut energy costs by up to 13% a year

In an effort to help commercial building owners identify inefficiencies in maintenance and energy operations, Verisae has launched its intelligent software platform, "Apollo," which collects data from any source and provides alerts and intelligent analytics that enable companies to cut inefficiency and reduce maintenance and energy spending by 7 to 13 percent annually.

"While current Business Intelligence applications have the ability to layer data models on top of each other in other areas of the business, the areas of facility operations require a level of expertise not found in traditional BI systems. Our Flagged Conditions product [Apollo] is revolutionary, and will help our customers integrate energy and facility management to drive unnecessary costs out of their business and move toward a predictive management philosophy," said Jerry Dolinsky, CEO of Verisae.

Apollo is currently rolling out to more than 1,000 and connecting to more than 50,000 pieces of equipment to collect five-minute interval data and stream over a million data points daily into Verisae's data warehouse. The company expects the number of live sites to reach more than 10,000 in the next 12 months.

"Integrating data from facilities, building control systems, energy consumption and third parties and analyzing this to identify opportunities to improve efficiency is truly best practice for the enterprise carbon and energy management industry," said David Metcalfe, CEO at Verdantix.
